復如節在澳洲是個長國定假日 朋友相約就去露營啦!!
整整5天 我們就這樣待在那
其實星期四大家還是有上班的 所以我跟大叔的任務就是先到我們心中想要露營的那個地方 去佔位子 畢竟靠近達爾文市區 不錯的 人少的 好地點也不多啊 加上長假日和學校假日一起 大家不出門露營 要幹嘛 哈哈哈
The first night sunset - 第一晚在夕陽西下前抵達，下了點小雨
很幸運地靠著朋友傳給我們的 GPS 找到營地 但是看起來有點不那麼理想
雖然離水很近 可以游泳玩水 但並沒有一個足夠的空間 到處都是雜草叢生 除了車子走過的地方外 草都長得比人高
決定先不管朋友給的祕密景點 往回走 看看有沒有更適合的地點
於是我們找到了這個完全的地方 離可以游泳的地方僅有10幾公尺 又有充足的空間可以容納三台車 和 數個帳篷
就決定是這裡啦!! 不管他們喜不喜歡 我們是滿喜歡的
Rhys 原本說下班後會直奔這與我們會合 但等了又等 幾輛車經過找尋他們需要救援的朋友 就是不見 Rhys
看是明天才會來了吧… 就這樣 我們就自顧自的享受著這寧靜的夜晚

隔天早上 在還朋友們還沒抵達前 drama queen 又發威了
不小心踢到一根木頭 木屑就這樣不偏不倚的插入我的腳趾甲與甲床之間
難道 這就是傳說中的滿清十大酷刑 我真是要崩潰了
拿出我們預備的醫藥箱 居然沒有適當的鑷子可以把它夾出來 (只有塑膠笨拙鑷子…)
小妞我有帶指甲剪 想說把上面那層指甲剪掉 塑膠鑷子就可以夾住木屑上端 然後奮力一拔 應該就可以移除它
誰知道 奮力一拔後 木屑直接斷成兩半 另一端依然牢牢地卡在裡面 你就知道都多緊
這過程中 每動一釐米都令我疼痛不已 幾經折磨後還是無法把它取出 讓我們先休息一下吧
喝杯咖啡 放鬆一下 我決定問問大叔要不要再試一次 用我的指甲剪 畢竟比塑膠有力多了
把腳交出去 不敢多看一見 多痛都忍著不哭也不叫 只希望這一次可以成功
咻~的一聲 哇~~~~~ 我大哭了起來 "超 級 無 敵 他 x 的 痛"!!!
不過 倒是把木屑拔了出來 我的媽呀 無法停止的流淚和哭叫
大叔一直跟我道歉 我說 不是你的錯 只是太痛 我需要哭出聲來 實在太搞笑了
大叔馬上準備冰敷袋給我 讓我可以止痛 哭了5分鐘有吧 終於停了下來 至少 在朋友們抵達前結束了這場鬧劇 (一早就這麼刺激好嗎 )

大叔用繃帶固定冰敷袋在我的腳上 以免 我又要擦眼淚 又要扶冰敷 手忙腳亂 XD
The bandage was used to fixed the ice pack to my foot, in case I was too busy wiping my tears to hold the ice pack. It became Tank's stylish scarf after the drama.
最後用來固定的繃帶 變成 Tank 最時尚的圍巾了 顆顆
That's me, wet as just up from swimming hole. 這是剛玩完水起來濕身的我
大部份的時間 熱了 大家就泡在水裡 冷了 就起來 找事做
像是煮煮東西吃 聊聊天 玩玩桌遊 四處溜溜狗
男人們還要負責去找生營火要用的木材 嘿嘿
Scott, Rhys and Tank were bringing firewood back. Yay!! 拾木材的男人和狗 哈哈
Was tried to cool him down by a wet handkerchief. He looks like a grandma though. lol 用濕手帕幫Tank消消暑 沒想到他還滿喜歡的呢 只是看起來像個老婆婆 呵呵
Mr. Tank on the stretcher. 由於他把他自己的導演椅坐穿了 只好借用別人家的囉

隔天 我們決定到雨林裡去晃晃 攝影師們也試著找尋合適的目標 (-鳥兒們) 好拍攝照片

Just missing a hammock. 就差一個吊床就可以在這睡午覺了 呵呵
Nature is just beautiful no matter how it displays itself. 大自然的美就是無所不在 無關紊亂或有序
That was the track we followed. 這就是我們的叢林探險
我看收穫最多的就是我這個 iphone photographer 吧!! 沒有很多鳥們 攝影師們幾乎空手而歸
不過 是個很舒服的漫步

I'm sure our little guest agreed. lol 羊排肯定嚐起來不錯 連它都知道 哈哈
最後一天 Ben & Ange 去鎮上補給 我們和 Rhys & Marinke 就待在營地玩大富翁的紙牌
約莫中午他們回來了 吃點午餐後 我們又跳入了咱們的後花園
The swimming hole is not deep at all with a little beach as an entrance. 我們的泳池不深 入口處還有小沙灘
The other side of the water holes is deeper where we washed dishes. haha 泳池的另一端 水面較狹窄也較深 我們在那洗碗盤 (下游端)

今天下午還帶 Tank 去附近散步 順便到處繞繞
The tree roots are revealed as the road was washed down. 路基被雨水沖刷 導致樹根裸露
Dry season is coming. 正處於乾濕季交替 可以看見遠處有烏雲飄過 地景卻是乾得不得了 非常美麗的天空
Flowers bloom after a descent rain. 萬草叢中一點紅

結束了這一回合 明天一早我們就打包回府了
這次為了提前慶祝 Marinke 的生日 我做了一個布朗尼核桃蛋糕 居然忘記拍照
這也是第一次我們帶 shower 出門 超級酷炫 雖然有天然泳池可以泡 但總是跟淋浴不一樣
每天早上沖完澡 都覺得格外清爽 謝謝大叔的貼心
我們這次玩了幾款桌遊：Articulate - a fast discribe game / Card against humanity - as the name / monopoly - 紙牌版的大富翁
第一款敘述遊戲對於英文不是母語的我 非常有難度 但還算有趣 大家也對我很仁慈
第二款就是有點不雅的遊戲 不是很愛 也沒什麼意義 就是笑笑 但是有些我真的覺得不好笑 語言也是有一定的難度
第三款大富翁就是得心應手啦!! 沒有語言障礙 哈哈 玩第一次就大勝 嘿嘿
桌遊真的是滿不錯的 可以消耗滿多時間 尤其是第一款 哈哈 可以考慮在長途的旅行中帶上一些 增添樂趣

Marinke's birthday party will be next weekend, but we can't make it since Scott has to work.
We were thinking going camping with them this week, as it's Easter which is always a long holidays in Australia and it's not late for her birthday.
That was how it got arranged.
I made a brownie cake for her as well, though I forgot to take photos. lol
The plan is we go to the secret spot on Thursday to secure the place before the holidays officially begins.
Rhys wil send the location to us and might meet us at night after he gets off work.
...
We arrived there on Thursday and found the spot Rhys dropped on the map where we thought it wasn't ideal enough.
It had no room for 3 cars and tents, also with long grass.
We turned around and see if we could find another place where is better than that.
Less than 100 meters, we found a spot looked more like the place we normally camp and not far from swimming hole, too.
We decided to stay here, at least we were happy with it.
"If they don't like, we can move then.", we thought.
After we set up the tent, we could feel some drops. It rained for a while.
Some vehicles passed to look for their friends who got bogged, but Rhys never showed up that night.

As everyone knows, I'm a drama queen.
The drama happened right after we got up.
I was walking around and suddenly I kicked a stick under the table.
It kept sore for a while, then I found there was a piece of stick straight into my toenail.
Such a torture to me!
Scott tried to help me to get it out.
He looked into our first aid and couldn't find a proper tweezers.
There was a plastic one, but it wasn't good enough for this case.
I took my nail clippers out, and trimmed my nail a bit to reveal the stick and see if we could reach it this time.
Guess what? We reached it, but it just broke to two pieces. That meant the other half still hung there tightly.
I was frustrated as I knew I have to get it out ASAP, but it was very painful every time we tried to get it out.
We decided to take a break from this, and have a cuppa coffee.
Took a deep breath, I asked Scott to try my nail clippers which should be better than the plastic tweezers.
I handed out my foot, kept quiet, moved my sight from it and got ready for one more try.
Just hope it would be pulled out at once.
Suddenly, I felt it was drew out from my toenail.
I couldn't help crying and screaming as just too painful to keep quiet anymore.
I needed to cry out loud to release the pain.
Scott felt so sorry about making me cry like this.
It wasn't his fault plus he was helping me, but I just had to.
It lasted for at least 5 mins and stopped eventually.
Scott prepared an ice pack for me to ease my pain.
How sweet!
Anyway, I was lucky to get the stick out before others arrived.
Told you, I am a drama queen. lol

Before noon, they arrived.
They liked this place as well which was good and meant we didn't need to move. hehe
Met new friends, Ben, Ange and Wilson.
They set the tents up quickly and girls decided to test the water as we didn't try it last night.
Men were in charge of firewoods.
They disappeared for so long time that we thought they might go into the town and have few drinks though.
Of course they didn't. If so, we weren't be surprised as that is Australian men for you. lol

Our photographers decided to walk into the rainforests and see if they could find some birds to take photos.
Tank and I thought that would be fun, so we followed them to the forests.
How weird there weren't many birds in there, might be not a good time for bird watching we guessed.
Should try early morning or evening.
I didn't know how many photos they got, but I took a lot snapshots with my iPhone as always. lol
That was a nice walk though, very shady under palm trees and water was quit clean and cool.
The only thing we missed was a hammock. hehe
After back from walk, we saw wedge-tailed eagles and finches around campsite.
Why did we find birds in the forests?

That would be the last night we stayed.
Ben and Ange went into down to get some ice and beers.
Rhys, Marinke, Scott and I played monopoly at campsite.
What a relaxing weekend.
The most of time we just played game, soaked in the water, walked dogs around, and men had their game every arvo.

Allows me to refresh every morning after shower which was awesome.
Also the dinner every night were amazing and saved me from cooking.
I really enjoyed every moments with you guys except the drama I had. lol
I am looking forward to the next camping with you guys again...
